One of the struggles we have finding the right candidate is getting the right CV in front of us.
This is an interesting article explaining how your CV needs to work for you, don't let it hold you back.
As a recruitment team we spend a lot of time coaching candidates on how to present their CV and at the end of the day it is something very easy....keep it simple....this does not mean short in length, it means keep it clear and get those key words in there, or you will never be found.
Don't let your CV mean you are hiding your light under a bushel!
In summary, a CV is a tricky entity to get just right. The perfect combination of necessary vs unnecessary information is not easy to achieve. Remember, "to the point" does not always mean "short." I have opened many impressive CVs which are to the point, yet are 10 - 12 pages long. What you're filling these pages with is what counts. Don't undersell yourself for the sake of a perceived "maximum length." We want to know what you do - so we can see what you CAN do!
